  1. You obviously do not know the team very well. Show me a team that backs each other up as much off the court as on! When you see one, you usually see the majority of the team together. They WANT to WORK HARD for their school and coach. You amaze me Sting.... people are allowed to have opinions, and in MY opinion, they do have the most Heart and Drive. So live with it. :fire:
  2. No one is saying SK hasn't improved.... What is being said is Scott has improved by a larger margin. If everyone would think (or look) back at the postings from the beginning of the season, no one gave Scott a chance, since they lost "their best players". Well, Sharp, Miller, Felts, Smith, Adkins, Hiller, Norman, and (bless his soul) Quigley are here to tell them they were wrong, they are here and are going to compete! And they have. They have went further than a lot of people expected. And they are going to go even further. Do not EVER underestimate the Eagles. They might not be the best team but this team has more heart and drive than any other team in the state. Give credit where credit is due.
  3. This is more than a local grudge match, or rivalry. Most of these kids grew up playing against each other in booster ball and blacktop ball. Its the last time these teams will be together to play each other. Some of these guys are friends off the court. No matter who wins its going to be an emotional, hard played, hard coached, and amazing game. Although I am totally rooting for the Eagles. Its gonna be a squeaker.
  4. Wow, we agree! It will be hard on these boys to play their last home game. The emotions will be running high. They are definitly going to be pumped to play. Good Luck Eagles...Go out with a big bang!
  5. Not worth it. None of these boys, unfortunatly will go on to play at college level. There are 7 games left. I would like to see ALL THE SENIORS... Sharp, Felts, Smith, Holt, Norman, MIller, and anyone I missed to enjoy what is left and have fun and play hard. Good Luck Eagles with the rest of the season. Have Fun!. Sting and Tiger1.... you too.
  6. Tiger1 are you Sharp or Miller's agent? It takes 5 guys to make a team. Baker has yet to dress from what I hear, and who really know how he will fit with the team. Besides, if Carr is any kind of coach, Baker should be down on this list to get in the game. Felts, Hiller, Adkins, and Norman all work hard and to start some kid that has yet to play all season, at the end of the season, would seriously hurt morale. Granted Sharp and Miller are doing well this year, but if it wasn't for the other 3 players out there feeding them the ball and helping out defensivly, where would they be? You really should give credit to the team, not just your few "select" picks. That's why basketball is a TEAM sport. The Eagles are a good team with several good players.
  7. What happened tonight was CCHS started pressing and Scott has a hard time taking a dose of their own medicine. Sharp turned the ball over several times and at key times free throws were missed by a few players including Sharp. Carr changed up how he was defending after the second quarter. Once CCHS found that "sweet spot" with the 3's it was a done deal. When Carr put a 5'3' player in for Smith/Norman, he can't compete with CCHS well over 6' team.
  8. I thought they had a big man, just Carr doesn't use him. Played well in the first few games then hasn't put much time in since. Carr is falling into the same trap, playing only his "favorites". He has a deep bench, but won't use them. He would rather let his starters were down.
  9. Here you go SHS Eagle...Directions starting from US27 in Alexandria. US-27 - go 24.7 mi Bear a left on CHURCH ST - go 0.8 mi Turn Left on E BRIDGE ST - go 0.3 mi Turn Right on WEBSTER AVE - go 0.2 mi Arrive at 320 WEBSTER AVE, CYNTHIANA, on the Left
  10. Yes, I agree this should be a good game. With the Eagles winning the first game by a huge margin, this has given their confidence a boost, and the rivalry between these schools make this a favorite of the fans and players alike. IF they play like they did against BC, I would say its going to be a closer game than 10 points. I'll take Scott by 3 ( most likely in overtime!!!) The Eagles will come to win, not just play.
  11. Does anyone know how Scott did in the scrimage this past Saturday? I believe they played Finneytown. Who did Carr start? Will these be his starting 5? Thanks in advance for the info, I am sorry I missed the game.
  12. That's him... Also thought of another kid, Prince... He was a big guy also. Why are these guys not playing? Are they involved in other sports?
  13. Sorry for coming in late on this thread, but aren't there a few other seniors your not even mentioning. (not sure if the names are right but...) Zimmer, Norman, and Walter. I think Zimmer plays football. Not sure about the other two, but I know there was another player on JV and Varsity that was kinda big. Scott hopefully will surprise everyone.
