If I was a UL fan I say NC game. There is no better way to promote your program than by playing on the highest stage possible. Will they get throttled by O$U or Michigan, most likely. But I think it would be a big step for the program.

I don't think UL (or anybody) will be able to play with OSU this year. Had this same arguement with a buddy of mine earlier today. Only one way to settle this dispute so he's getting 10.5 if this matchup really materializes. I would have given more if needed.

It was worth a shot... :lol:

And I'm not trying to put down UL, but I just don't see them (or anybody but UM) being able to play with OSU. UL already showed last night that they can't slow down a high powered offense (which OSU has) and unlike WVU, OSU knows how to play defense.

Florida will need more than a FSU win, they need a win in the SEC championship.

But if they play someone that they have already played in doesn't help their SOS.

Possibly......Now RP will be quick to jump on that statement and tell you how Florida already played Auburn so that game won't affect the computer rankings the second time. But what RP convienantly forgets is that Arkansas, not Auburn, is leading the SEC West right now, and has to lose two games in order to not make the title game.....A win over a very good Arkansas team would be more than enough IMO.

If tO$U and Michigan are 1,2 in all 3 polls going into the final game, and it's a close game, the winner is #1 in all three, the loser may drop to #3 in all three....so can the Cards do enough to move up to #3 in all three polls before the tO$U/UM game?

If U of L wins out and gets to #5 in the PC polls they are in 100%.

Unfortunately, and it may be a moot point anyway, but how much does Miami's tailspin affect UL?

Not to be picky here, but Miami was 1-1 when UL beat them...they are now 5-3 gave GaTech fits...and might beat VPI this weekend.
