See, I orignially thought that as well. However, does the semi-large margin of victory help them or hurt them? Basically, it possibly raises the question, Is WV really that good? As every UofL fan on here has been quick to point out, the Mountaineers schedule has been absolutely awful. The first above-average team (no, I'm not calling UofL only above-average) on their schedule and they get thumped.....I mean it has to raise some questions or doubts among the voters. UofL was ranked higher than WV per the computer polls already, so it really won't help them as greatly there....

It will interesting to hear the national spin. It could determine the human polls...

If UofL does jump them, it won't be by much....Which leads me to wonder, will a Gator win over the 'Noles garner them enough to re-jump them at the end of the year...Whether it be right or wrong.....If UofL does run the table, the questions will be raised as to how good were WV and Rutgers really, and that may ultimately cost them a shot at the title.

Possibly......Now RP will be quick to jump on that statement and tell you how Florida already played Auburn so that game won't affect the computer rankings the second time. But what RP convienantly forgets is that Arkansas, not Auburn, is leading the SEC West right now, and has to lose two games in order to not make the title game.....A win over a very good Arkansas team would be more than enough IMO.

Not real sure.....That is one question I have for UofL fans....Would you rather your team play in the National Title game, and (once again not bashing) most likely get beat by more than a TD by tO$U/UM or make a BCS game and finish the season undefeated?

Not a UL fan, but that is an interesting question. On one hand if you don't get the NC bearth you won't win one, but on the other hand I don't see any one realistically beating tO$U this year, so if you go undefeated with the NC snub you can always argue what could have been.

And let's be honest. UL would be thrilled with those results long term...
November 3, 200619 yr UL just hung 44 points on the #8 scoring defense (32 points over their average) in the country and they held the #2 scoring offense to 10 points below their season average......UL will be #3 and will actually get more points as the season goes on with tough games against Rutgers and Pitt...... Ohio State is good...very good......but who in their right mind wouldn't want a shot?
