Is Penn State better than Michigan, MSU, Wisconsin, and Iowa? I think the answer is resoundingly yes.

Nope

A good reason for having a 16 team playoff. What we have now is useless.

16 is way too many...maybe expand one round to 8.

Why? Too long of a season? I think it would at least tell us who the best really is. 8 would be much better than 4 though.

How are you feeling about Oklahoma?

Nope

Based on what?

I see a developing trend, that every OSU opponent for the rest of the season is going to be gassed up.

I think they all are ok to maybe good, but nothing special. If Ohio State is to be considered elite, then they should go into happy valley and win by 3 tds. I fully expect them to do exactly that.

So by the same logic Clemson can’t be considered elite because they went to college station and left with a 2 point victory? I’m certainly not making that argument.

Penn St. 31-28.

I think A&M is a better team than Penn State.

I have no words.

Why are you so high on Penn State?

I see a developing trend, that every OSU opponent for the rest of the season is going to be gassed up.

I’ve also seen a trend for several years now, you all say OSU will “crush” top 10-15 teams, trying to discredit those teams and OSU’s victories over them. Or you get the cherry on top, OSU losses to these top 10-15 teams, then you say it’s the most overrated OSU team in recent memory. Either way, OSU has no chance.

Did I miss anything in that narrative?

Why are you so high on Penn State?

Because they’ve been recruiting at a high level and James Franklin is a hell of a coach. You can go back and check but I’ve been saying Penn State is a top 5 team since the pre season. Trace McSorley is still the most underrated player in the sport. They looked bad against App State, but they’ve looked like the team I expected them to be ever since. They have talent, they have a QB, and they have a coach. I don’t see why everyone is so down on Penn State. So many people try to use 1 game to define a season. I choose to look at the whole puzzle. It doesn’t matter to me if Penn State is good or not. “Not our rival” has become one hell of a rivalry as far as I’m concerned. I hate Penn State, but it would be foolish for me to disrespect them and think they aren’t capable of beating Ohio State. I’ve seen less talented Penn State teams do some damage against extremely talented Ohio State teams. Hell, OSU went to overtime with PSU the year they won the National Championship. White Out conditions is the toughest environment to play in, in college football. If Ohio State wins this game by double digits I will be truly shocked.
