I don't see PSU slowing OSU down very much. If PSU can force 2 or 3 punts per half they'll have a chance.

OSU defense is sound so far this season and except for a couple of big plays, have been hard to maintain drives against...that continues this weekend.

OSU 38

PSU 24

I worry that PSU could gash OSU for 200 yards rushing.

Couple of big rushing plays, then McSorley throwing rainbows a mile into the air into single coverage. I’ve seen this story before. I didn’t like the outcome.

Our defense has really struggled at times and we’re going up against of the top backs in the B10. That alone should keep this game close unless PSU, turns the ball over.

It’s going to be a close game. That’s just how this is going to play out. Our defense is solid. Penn State will score some points. The only way Ohio State loses this game though is turnovers or some bad plays on special teams. 2 years in a row this game has been decided because of key special teams plays. Ohio State can’t let that happen again. I’m sure that will be a key point of emphasis this week.

Sounds like the Bosa family is at least entertaining the idea of keeping Nick off the field for the rest of the season...

Cheryl Bosa, the mother of Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa, tells me Nick is in Philadelphia for rehab after undergoing core muscle surgery last week. Cheryl Bosa said Nick will return to Philadelphia in November to be re-evaluated. "It would be then that we'll assess his readiness," she said. Cheryl said her son wants to return for Ohio State this season but that they'll discuss his situation (NFL) as a family before making a decision. He's expected to fully recovery from the injury and is working with well-known core muscle specialist Dr. William Meyers of the Vincera Institute. "He's with the best doctor in the world for the injury that he sustained," Cheryl Bosa said.

I don’t blame them 1 bit. Yeah it sucks, but the Bosa family doesn’t owe Ohio State anything. With that said, if Bosa is healthy, I think he’ll play.

Michigan and the playoffs.

Michigan and the playoffs.

That works for me.

Both teams are very good and well coached. I think that the winner of this one could very possibly be the Big10 champions as well as a CFB playoff. I believe that OSU is as good, maybe better than their national championship team from a few years ago. Haskins is a legit Heisman candidate. Playing in Happy Valley and at night / "white out" does concern me. N. Bosa's injury concerns me more, imo Bosa is one of the two or three top defensive players in the country.

Penn State may get an early lead riding the emotion but the Buckeyes are just too strong.

OSU by 12.

We have 50% of that defense is the problem.

Just watched a highlight reel of the game last year. Man, JT Barrett was so damn good in that game. 13/13 170 yards and 3 TDs in the 4th quarter alone. This is a different offense now though. I’m curious to see if Urban really meant what he said about being hands off with the offense and unleashing Haskins in this game. Other than Iowa last year and Clemson in the playoff, every game Meyer has lost since he’s been at Ohio State has been because he got way too conservative and just ran the QB into the ground. He doesn’t have that option with Haskins. This game has me so damn excited. Is it Saturday yet?

This is a playoff play-in game. Two of the top offenses, we might see a basketball score in this one. It’s going to be a fun Saturday night.

I expect OSU to win this game by 10 or so. There is only one game I think OSU may lose in the Big 10, and I stated that a few weeks ago. That game will be their last regular season game of the year.

Did I see it right that these are the top 2 scoring offenses in FBS right now?

I’m just perplexed by your assertion that Michigan will beat Ohio State but Penn State won’t. Do you think Michigan is better than Penn State or is it just Michigan is due for a win?
