Boyle County (5-0) travels to Radcliff, KY to take on the Trojans of North Hardin (4-1).

Boyle County is coming off a dominating performance against Collins in a game that they were up 40-0 at halftime. North Hardin won their matchup against North Bullitt 42-21.

Who wins this interesting matchup?

Any word on Reese Smith and Jackson Smith?

Any word on Reese Smith and Jackson Smith?

I was told Reese will not miss any games, but his touches could be limited over the next couple weeks as for Jackson I haven’t heard anything definite.

Reese broke his hand, not sure yet how much playing time he will be allowed to play.

This could be a closer game than some expect.

I think so too. North Hardin is a solid team.

No it won’t be.

No it won’t be.

I don’t think so either I’m leaning toward a running clock.

I think they win by 3+ touchdowns and a running clock wouldn’t surprise me. With or without Reese.

This is Lex Cath tune up round 2 for the Rebels. They passed the first one with flying colors and Reese Smith only had a couple of catches granted one was for a TD. North Hardin will most definitely be a stiffer test than Collins. On paper it looks like NH will try to keep the Rebels guessing with their balanced run/pass attack. We know Boyle won’t give up much on the ground so it will be up to the secondary to keep North Hardin off the scoreboard. This is a good test for Boyle at this point in the year heading into district play in a couple of weeks. A running clock might happen at some point but a 21-28 point margin seems likely.

I think this could be a close game depending on a few factors. Whether we like it or not Reese Smith is a game changer. I know, I know, that's obvious. He makes such an impact at WR and FS it's crazy.

Without him I say 14-21 point victory. With him I say 24-31 point victory.

Collins did everything they could to make sure they didn't get beat deep. There was times the corners were playing 12 yards off the receivers. Boyle County realized this and ran right through Collins which opened up passes down the middle.

I heard Reese has a broken knuckle on his left hand will probably play defense but probably no offense for the next couple of weeks sounds better than a broken hand, Will know more on Tuesday.
