Good deal. It's going to be a tough matchup without Reese lurking in the backfield as a safety.

Reese could be back for the Garrard Co game and should be back for sure against Lexington Catholic. He has a high tolerance for pain. He scored 20 pts. in a basketball game last year after breaking a finger in the first quarter.

Partly true. The whole story is better and only adds to his legend. He broke two fingers in the second half of the district finals game against Danville and continued playing after coming out of the game briefly to get his fingers taped. He played a large part in securing the district championship. He missed 20 seconds of game time and finished with 17 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. He then played in the next game a few days later in the region tournament and scored 24 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and a blocked shot in that game. Reese is a gamer, he’s one of the toughest kids I have ever seen. When he says he is playing for his brothers he means it and his brothers see what he goes through to play for them and in return they are one solidified family. I’ll always love that about these boys.

Just talked to coach Leffew he said Reese would miss this Friday and their off next week then he will be back for the following game which I believe I believe is Garrard.

Good deal but he won’t be needed against Garrard County. They may as well let him rest it that game and give him an extra week of healing.
