Final.

That was a frightening display from Pikeville. I wonder if this reverberated from the mountains to Fort Mitchell?

Nice win for Pikeville. Sounds like they have a really nice team.

How diplomatic of you.

Could not be happier right now, for this team.

Pikeville engine seems on a roll!

This is the most impressive Pikeville team I have seen in a while.

Big, fast, and ripe with playmakers.

No.

What happened on the field in Ft. Mitchell Friday night reverberates more at Beechwood that what happens in any other game around the state. The Tigers are always focused on their work at hand. That is fixing any shortcomings in Friday's game and being better this Friday when Somerset visits. The people wondering about the impact of the Pikeville score are the same people who thought the trophy should be mailed to Ft. Mitchell last week before Beechwood had even played a game. That group doesn't include any Beechwood fans, players or coaches. This score has no impact on the fact that Beechwood will keep working hard every day to get back to Lexington in December.

This is a good answer. But as a neutral third party observer, Pikeville's performance last night adds a little extra juice to the early season conversation about 1A. As much as I admire Beechwood, I'd like to see someone from the East rise up and make the Tigers sweat a little this year.

Trying not to be a hater, but I doubt I'm the only one who thinks last year's LCA team was/is much better than the 2018 version.

Not only did LCA graduate a bunch of skill guys, but at least three would be starters jumped ship to Frederick Douglass.

That's awfully hard to replace.
