Just win baby.

That said, I'm content with whatever decision comes available as long as they tell us what the findings were.

I could see where you would think that if you didn't have the context of my first post in this thread. So you're darn right I hope Urban did nothing wrong because I want to win. Time served is essentially no suspension so you bet thats what I'm rooting for. There isn't a scenario where there is evidence of wrong doing on behalf of Urban and he still keeps his job. Even my opinion that he will serve some sort of suspension is going to be based on the press conference at B1G media days not because he did anything wrong. Personally, I think having to miss 3 weeks of camp is more than enough punishment for lying at B1G media days I'm just not sure the university will view it that way in an effort to save face.

Considering they don’t want to fire him and they likely leaked details of the “punishment” so they could gauge the reaction I say maybe one game.

We get it, you don't care what he did (or didn't do).

I get it. You don’t read my posts.

I do. Which is why I said that.

Just win baby.

New revelation in college sports?

I haven't read one thing about the details after the initial story came out and Urban was put on leave. Makes it tough for me to gauge what should happen.

That's exactly how OSU wants it.

If you did, what I said doesn’t jive with your narrative. I want to hear what the committee found one way or another and I’m going to be content with whatever they decide as long as they provide us with the details. I’m not sure how that warrants a “just win baby” response :idunno: Clearly I hope Urban did nothing wrong, but if he did then the university should move in a different direction. Please construct a more lukewarm take for me to have on this. This is about as rational as it gets.

That was definitely by design. We’ll find out what they found at some point. Any leaks of info from the investigation before it’s finished would compromise the integrity of the investigation itself.

My quote was directed at you hoping he only gets "time served." If they report a list of things he did wrong (which they'll never do), but they still keep him, you're okay with that, by your own admission. Seems pretty simply as to why I said it.

Time served or at worst one game. While on suspension, Meyer has earned about $400,000 from OSU.

Of course we do not know much of what has occurred. It has all been speculative with one side saying Meyer should have done X, Y, and Z, and the other side discrediting the messenger(s) and saying Meyer fulfilled his duties.

Before this gets off track, the OSU fans I know would accept and move on from a game suspension of any length.

You don't have a problem with the win at all cost mentality?
