Just a reminder that game time has been moved back to 8pm.

Today's paper said that game time was moved back at

the request of Paris' Coach.

Well it is a two hour drive, and if you get out of school at 3:15 and you can't get a bus until 4:30, and if the principal doesn't let you leave early enough to get there to get your boys warmed up to keep them from getting injured, then I guess you would ask for the game to be moved back... (that's my opinion)

BTW- I don't think the principal has attended one away game nor I don't think she has stayed pass half-time at the home games! If that stands true, SHAME!!!!!

I'm worried myself Rambler. You are correct, Paris did make adjustments and did outscore Raceland in the second half, but at the same time Vanderhoof always calls the dogs off early in a blow out.

 

I am confident that the right preparations have been made for Raceland to come out on top Friday night.

 

Now we find out if it is a Northern Ky Playoff jinx or just a Playoff jinx in general.

I agree about the coaches making the right preparations for this weeks game. the Rams have a great coaching staff and one that works extremely hard at what they do.

I hope this year the jinx is broken, we will soon see.

I commend the Raceland Administration for agreeing to move the game back to accomadate the Greyhounds situation.

I am close enough to 50 that it counts!:lol: Myself, TGf and Cvillecat have been around for lets say..........a while:eek: and all of us have witnessed a lot of Raceland Football through the years and have been there in the good and bad times. I am still kicking though just not as high. I myself am 49 right now......going on 89 . Don't say that a person is as young as they feel bc that would make me around 110.:scared:. Rams had defensive practice in the gym on wed. and had a walk through practice today on the game field. The Rams seem to be mentally and physically prepared for another battle with Paris. The game field was still wet and soggy. It's going to be a cold one tomorrow night but atleast it wont be as wet and rainy as last week. I look for the RHS offense to take advantage of the dry field and put up some more big numbers! Oh and by the way.....Im sure the ORANGE CRUSH will show up and play a little bit to!!!!!!

First hats off to the Raceland coach and administration for being classy and moving the game back to 8:00 to accomodate the travel for Paris. I believe there are a lot of coaches that would not do that. From everything I have seen the last couple of years, Vanderhoof (SP?) runs a classy program. Should they win tonight, I will be pulling for Raceland throughout the rest of the way.

 

Tonight's game will be a good game. Paris did make adjustments in the second half and were able to hold the Rams in check, so to speak. Raceland made the big plays last week, when they had to. That is what good teams do. I hope that Paris comes ready to play, I feel last week they were not ready to play, (not taking anything away from Raceland, because they played a good game). If Paris comes in and "walks" around and goes half-speed (like they do sometimes) this game will be over in the 1st quarter and Raceland will head up to LCA next week.....

I totally agree... walking around and going half speed is what will get you hurt. You always go full speed and FINISH THE PLAY...

I think what hurts Paris is YES they are small and I feel that some of them are just ready for the season to be over with so they can go start basketball. They have no idea of how it feels or how important it is to win especially during Playoffs. The teams I have seen over the last several years degress by this time of the year (Paris). They start strong and finish like they just want it to be over. That is not fair to some of the other guys that are out there every game giving heart and soul and want to WIN. Too bad Paris' team is small, because after last weeks game, those walking around would be hanging up their eqp (if I were the coach) and then they could go do whatever they wanted, and then Me and the guys that want to play would get ready to play again and work to win!
