Tanner Morgan QB (Ryle) starting at Minnesota?

I was told that former Ryle QB is the starter at Minnesota.

 

Any word on this?

I couldn't find any definitive answer on the web. It does sound like he's in a battle with incoming freshman, Zack Annexstad.

 

I checked out his bio and learned he is the cousin of Tim Couch.

He's a redshirt freshman. The other QB is a true freshman.

Feel's like it's been longer since he was at Ryle but I guess this is only their second season without him.

Bummer, Tanner had a good camp. He will see the field, hopefully, he can take the job eventually.
