I would imagine he will be used in a variety of ways; Ahlfeld too. I do know that Brycen only took reps at RB during the 7v7 on offense but played a ton of LB and S.

Converted to RB this season. The most interesting thing going into this season to me is if this coaching staff has finally figured out that the days of the strict two-platoon is a thing of the past. To beat the better teams on your schedule or in the playoffs you have to be willing to have guys play on both sides of the ball.

On the roster note, isn't it great that the roster is posted almost a month before the first game rather than the day of? Amazing how having an Athletic Director that is organized and a go-getter can do for an athletic program. Times have changed for the better at Highlands.

Mr. Nieporte attended a Soccer Board Meeting on Sunday. That is crazy to me. I was glad to see him. You are right, it is definitely an engagement improvement. Day-to-day stuff??? I wouldn't know anything about that, but he is making himself known and seen. That breeds confidence.

He is a great man, that really cares about the kids, "all kids", not just the athletes. Honestly, Matt wasn't a bad guy. His intentions were good, I just think Mr. Nieporte {sp} is a better fit, for that position. I wish them both, much success in the future.

That is a lot of talent at RB. Hopefully they are versatile and learning multiple offensive positions so that there isn't a bunch of talent sitting on the sidelines.
