May 30, 20188 yr So you want him to pitch more than 1 time a week? SMH. Not at this point. Remains to be seen when he goes to pen and is stubborn and pouts or he really works on some changes for the better.
May 30, 20188 yr Author Not at this point. Remains to be seen when he goes to pen and is stubborn and pouts or he really works on some changes for the better. Ok so your putting Homer in the bullpen. Hes going to be the long guy. Yet your adding to the rotation, a guy that hasnt pitched worth a hoot since 2015? Thats going to go well. This rebuild was supposed to be over by 2017 and competing by now. Reds couldn't compete with the BGP all star team right now.
May 30, 20188 yr Agreed on that statement. Not going to happen. Romano is going to be the odd man out. Which I’m fine with. He’s the worst of the two.
May 30, 20188 yr Well, you've got to feel it's either he or Romano. I don't see them sending Romano to the pen, as much as the possibility of sending down to Louisville. While I want to agree, I just can’t.
May 30, 20188 yr Rebuild was never ever supposed to be over in 2017 but ok. Yeah, I thought back when it started everything pointed to 2019, at best.
May 30, 20188 yr Is Winker hurt? He's out of the lineup again today. Makes 3 straight games and 4 of the last 5.
May 30, 20188 yr C. Trent Rosecrans Luis Castillo will start Sunday for the #Reds, Jim Riggleman said he hopes Homer Bailey is ready to come out of the bullpen this weekend
May 30, 20188 yr Color me shocked. Bailey is a waste and worthless regardless. The Reds are the only team he’d crack a rotation on anyways.
May 30, 20188 yr Author Senzel return to the Bats last night 0-4 at 2nd base. Hope the Vertigo is gone.
May 30, 20188 yr Wait, what? C. Trent Rosecrans Verified account @ctrent Today, Riggleman was a little more definitive about changes. Homer to the bullpen. End of the four-man outfield, Winker is the 'odd man out.' I'm sorry, if Riggleman really feels Duvall or Hamilton are better options than Winker, the dude has no business in the game of baseball.
May 30, 20188 yr Who do you bench? A: .180/.272/.661 B: .213/.296/.604 C: .237/.318/.707 D: .245/.354/.678
May 30, 20188 yr This guy is as big a buffoon as the previous manager. This entire organization needs to take a good hard look in the mirror and determine who if anyone can actually recognize what is and is not talent. There is no "plan" and that is pretty obvious.
May 30, 20188 yr Even more baffling is that the new GM met with Riggleman and they "mutually" made the decision to bench Winker. Hopeless. The guy making baseball decisions doesn't understand, well, baseball. :banghead:

I mean I get that Winker is a butcher defensively but he gets on base. I can see sitting him in some of the bigger parks but Duvall adds nothing on offense. This is a puzzling move especially given that Winker is supposed to be part of the future. If they're going to sit him they should trade him to an American League club that could use him as a DH. He'd be more valuable being traded than sitting the bench.
