Reds at Dodgers (5/10 - 5/13)

Featured Replies

Matt Harvey has been the real deal so far. Easy gas throwing 95 consistently. Reds up 3-0.

Harvey looked to average close to 94mph with the fastball and had it up to 96 or 97 at least once I believe. Also threw a lot in the 93mph range. I know he hasn’t been good in quite sometime and this is only one start but you can see glimpses of his dominant self out there. He looked so composed, I really enjoyed watching him pitch. Hopefully he can build off of this is San Fran

Votto makes a good diving play to get Homer out of a bases loaded jam. He again went way to far in the hole to field a ball that Scooter was waiting on. The infield coach needs to explain what ground a first baseman covers.

I didn't know there was an ambidextrous pitcher in the bigs. Hard to believe someone can do that at that level.

That was crazy cool. Reds battled back to take the lead. That new GM is doing wonders.

Homer stinks.

Is it me or does Bailey not want to follow his catcher's setup? I feel the pitch location called by Barnhart is merely a suggestion for him and he pretty much tosses it where HE wants to. Which, if he's paying attention, sure as hell hasn't been working for him lately. He's definitely hard-headed and I swear he and Barnhart are hardly ever on the same page when it comes to pitch location. Maybe am I being too critical and not really seeing what I think I see?

Good starting pitching and clutch hitting will take you to alot of wins.

This Dodgers team shouldn't scare any pitchers, right now, .241 team average and .230 at home and near the bottom of baseball in HRs. Without pitching this team is no threat to win right now. Won't be surprised to see Castillo shut them down today and get the Reds a rare LA sweep.

Hey if we can add 13 more straight wins to this 6 game winning steak. We will be back to .500 on the year :D

Definitely have to like what we are seeing from the young guys pitching lately.

Spot on, looked good.
