Only you know that the killer is you best friend. Do you keep the secret or rat them out? :speechless:

It's murder. The only right thing to do is notify police.

You have to tell the police...there is no other answer in my opinion. I may not be easy, in fact I think it would be very hard to do...but you'd have to.

Unless you take the Jimmy Conway approach: “Keep your mouth shut. And never, ever rat on your friends”.

Friend? I’m absolutely telling the authorities and it’s not even a hestation.

 

Now, if it’s my wife or a sibling or a parent? That’s a whole different situation. I honestly don’t know what I’d do in that situation.

I would tell the authorities. I assume I just found out because they confessed or more than likely just told me. Because if I had known for years then that makes no sense.

If you've known for years and did not speak up, don't you the friend have some culpability?

I’d need to know the reason for the murder before I decided.

Maybe I’m a little to loyal to the few people I consider true friends ?

Depends who they murdered and why?
