2018 NFL Draft

Featured Replies

BTW, the last few days there has been a story that Dorsey hasn't told Hue Jackson who he is going to pick at #1. I don't believe the story. It's just one of those dumb interest-generating rumors that get started. So it is funny that the other rumor floating around is that Head Coaches and GMs from outside the Browns organization have the inside scoop on their planned first pick.

The press contradicts itself in printing a story covering every possibility so they can say they were right when the pick is actually made. NO ONE KNOWS except those inside the building and they ARE NOT TELLING.

Keeping it real... I completely blew that one. The rumor that Cleveland would take Mayfield #1 was correct.

Arm talent wise Lamar is average in the NFL. Maybe even below average with regards to accuracy. The Ravens hope they found the second coming of Michael Vick, I think I see RGIII.

The average NFL qb does not win a Heisman.

Um history says different. There have been plenty of Heisman QB's in college, who couldn't even start a game in the NFL or was just flat out horrible. Jackson winning the Heisman has zero to do with how he will do in the NFL.

RGIII. Johnny Manziel. Shall I continue?

Dallas round 2

Any of these three would make me happy

Dallas has to get a receiver.

At some point they do, but with 10 picks(9 to go) it does not have to be in this round.

Let me correct myself. Dallas needs a difference maker at receiver. They left their difference maker in Green Bay 3 years ago.

I don’t know for sure, but I wonder how many heisman qb’s have been busts/ok compared to turning into stars?

Browns pick a walk-on lineman to protect their walk-on QB. Austin Corbett of Nevada, projected late 1st round, early 2nd round will be a good edition to the Browns line. It isn't clear if Cleveland is projecting him as a Left Tackle or just a lineman whose position will be named later. He is a very good lineman but, according to info from a search, he lacks ideal length. He joins his former teammate from Nevada, Joe Bitonio, who also played LT at Nevada but then moved to Guard for the Browns.

I look forward to watching Nick Chubb. He is the kind of back I like--big and strong. Hopefully, he will learn pass-protection early and can stay in the line-up for some 3rd down plays. He didn't have a much of a chance for that with fellow Bulldof, Sony Michel getting most of those opportunities.

5' 10" 230 lbs 4.5+ in the 40.

Carlos Hyde, Duke Jonson, and Nick Chubb present a formidable running game for the Browns, assuming their line can gel.

What did the Bengals do trade their 2nd round pick and their late third round pick for later picks? makes no sense.

Sometimes their moves just makes no sense. Did they get extra picks?

They moved back in the second but moved up in the third.
