It's absurd these folks were even in the position to be arrested.

I don't disagree but they have has much responsibility in that as anyone.

So her saying it makes it true? Keep in mind we are specifically talking about this store. As far as we know every other store in the world lets anyone and every one use their bathroom and take up tables with out buying anything.

Maybe Starbucks should adopt the policy that the old White Castle in St. Matthews had years ago. Everyone who wanted to use the john had to insert a nickel or a dime (forgot which) to get into a stall. The stall did not care what your ethnicity or status in life was. ........stall > staff.

Your right. I'm sure she gets to the store the minute it's opened and doesn't leave until closing time. She witnesses every single interaction between all employees and customers at said store every single day since the place first opened. :lol2:

I'm not blaming the cops. My issue is with Starbucks, for sure.

 

However, I do think it's absurd to arrest someone in this particular situation.

Because she sat in the same starbucks the day before for an hour without buying anything and didn't get asked to leave. Hmmm, she sounds like a regular there.

I think the important aspect of this is, does this Starbucks allow people to use their place of business as a free meeting site?

 

Do they routinely allow individuals who don't purchase anything to use their property as a place of business? If so, that lends credibility to the profiling claims.

I agree. It's hard to know the intent in this situation, to REALLY know if it was profiling.
