StraightShooter Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Former Ryle star Tanner Morgan is the frontrunner for the starting QB position at Minnesota after the Spring game: Gophers spring game: Tanner Morgan ahead at quarterback; Tyler Johnson steps up – Twin Cities A great young man and leader that is easy to root for. It will be interesting to see how things unfold over the next 4 months. Best wishes to Tanner!
John Anthony Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Proud of Tanner, he’s intelligent and putting in extra work on and off the field. Glad to see it payoff.
75center Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Thanks for sharing, will have to watch for MN games as we don't get too many on TV around here.
newarkcatholicfan Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Hopefully he can lead Minnesota to a good bowl game.
Voice of Reason Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Former Ryle and Hazard QB Tanner Morgan will be starting at QB for the Minnesota Gophers in their bowl game today. Game on ESPN at 5:15.
StraightShooter Posted December 26, 2018 Author Posted December 26, 2018 One of my favorite players of all time. Go Gophers!
sportsfan41 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Morgan went 7-13 for 132 yards, 2 TD'S and a 34-10 victory. Solid performance just feeding the ball where it needed to go.

Thanks for sharing, I thought Morgan played well when called upon. Minnesota was running the ball all over GT so they didn't have to press with Morgan. Tanner throws a nice ball and he should have had another TD pass but the refs called the WR out at the 3 by mistake. I can't wait to run into Tanner's dad decked out in his Golden Gopher Gear to hear all about it. Congrats Tanner!
John Anthony Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 My only disappointment is that he didn’t start in September. We’re yet to see the best of Tanner.
