Why do I keep thinking that Trinity let this kid down ? Just seems like that the status that Trinity holds they would have had him prepared for a 4 year school.

He didn’t qualify in high school. By his own admission, he didn’t take his grades seriously until it was too late.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe there are circumstances where by you can leave after one year for a 4 yr. school. It revolves around core courses and grades.

If you’re a qualifier out of high school, you can go for a year, then on to a four year school. If you didn’t qualify, you have to stay for 2 years.

He was a JuCo All-American last year at John A. Logan College. He was averaging 19.5 ppg 8.6 rebs, and shot 46% from beyond the arc and was 79% FTs.

 

I wonder what other offers he has coming his way. I'd definitely like to see him at Louisville with David Johnson. Stubbs still has 2 years of eligibility left, I believe.

He was the best player in the class of 18' IMO. Grades always held him back. Scrubb is a potential pro player (maybe not NBA but definitely overseas).
