October 22, 200619 yr When the line keeps defenders off Palmer, it's what we expect this team to be. Another nice game for J.J. and Brooks. We needed them to step up, and they did. It was also great to see #23 back out there...

October 22, 200619 yr The Bengals played some nasty defense in the second half, with the exception of the drive that Delhomme threw the int on. Like someone else said, get everyone back off the IL and this team will be dangerous.
October 22, 200619 yr And next week we will get Big Slim back too(Hopefully). Right now, I'm more interested in getting B. Simms and Jeanty back. They need help ASAP at LB...
October 22, 200619 yr Right now, I'm more interested in getting B. Simms and Jeanty back. They need help ASAP at LB... True...What is going on with Dexter?
October 22, 200619 yr True...What is going on with Dexter? What do you mean? I thought he played today.
October 22, 200619 yr What do you mean? I thought he played today. He did but it didn't seem like he was in there much. Maybe im just crazy???
October 22, 200619 yr He did but it didn't seem like he was in there much. Maybe im just crazy??? It looked to me like they were using him on running downs, and Kase on passing downs as much as they could.. Worked well...
October 22, 200619 yr So how did Perry look today? Did they use him much? He was used a little more early than late when they went to Watson. Both saw about equal time. If they can both stay healthy, we can be deadly on 3rd down...
October 22, 200619 yr I only saw the third quarter and the first half of the 4th, but it looked like to me that Palmer was way off (minus the 4th down throw to Chad, of course.) Palmer was far from way off in the second half.
October 23, 200619 yr They threw overtop and it worked a few times. It never hurt them and it really opened up the tight ends. The OL looked very good in the second half. The defense played very good but they did get lucky on some bad throws where guys were beat. JJ and Brooks looked very good. Geathers played like an animal today. Palmer had some happy feet still but he got hit a few times so I understand. He really settled down in the second half. The TD pass to TJ was thrown 5 yards and it appeared to be a blurry UFO. It had some zip. I would have liked Perry to get a few more touches, but Rudi looked to be in Rudi form for the first time this year. He hit some holes hard, made some sweet spin moves, and kept driving his feet. I'm sick of 3rd and long shovel passes.
October 23, 200619 yr It looked to me like they were using him on running downs, and Kase on passing downs as much as they could.. Worked well... yep... when Sam came off the field so did Dexter, so that is a good indicator... is it any coincidence that the Panthers always had 60 yards rushing with Dexter in there? he is KEY...
October 23, 200619 yr Just got back from the game. First NFL game I have been to & I picked a pretty good one to go to. Awesome catch by CJ! I was just 9 rows back, behind the Panthers sideline on the 25 so his catch was almost in front of me. I took some pretty good picks. I'll try to post some later.
October 23, 200619 yr Williams is tough. He appeared to not get there on that TD though. That hit on Smith was viscious!!!! Right between the shoulder pads and helmet. He's a playmaker!!!
