Scott County’s defense was tenacious! I knew they could score in bunches, but wasn’t aware their defense was that good! Great game to watch. LCA played a good game and had what they needed at the end. Hats off to them and congratulations to SC. Should be one heck of a first round game at Rupp!!

Really wanted LCA to win the Region. Great job by Coach Valentine and LCA though to keep the high powered Scott Co. team within reach with a open shot to win it at the buzzer.:thumb:

Hats off to LCA to give themselves a chance to win at the end of the game with an open 3. In addition, Carter Hendrickson goes out towards the first part of the 3rd quarter with a sprained ankle and does not return...........what might have been if he plays the entire game.

I'm glad they ended up playing out this Regional Tournament. A few posters thought it appropriate to give Scott Co. a bye to State Tourney. Hats off to LCA and Coach Valentine on a tremendous season. Coach is a class act!

Yea, they won't come out and admit it. But I also knew that LCA could play and match up with Scott Co. They match up well with what Scott likes to do; and more than that they are familiar with each other. Good job for both teams....I'd say LCA is one of the top 5 teams in the state at this point.

Watching it on the local news last the horn sounded about the time the LCA player got the rebound but the horn definitely sounded before he was fouled on the put back attempt.
