Congratulations to Mercer County. I saw some of their players this summer with Kentucky Premier and also talked to their coach who was coaching one of the teams. Nice guy and obviously knows what he’s doing.

 

With Sacred Heart and Campbell now out Mercer should be heavy favorites to repeat as state champs.

Best wishes re next couple years. You guys do have a fun bunch of young kids with no reason to think you shouldn't be in the thick of things in the 12th. The win vs SW was very impressive!

 

On the other hand, will give a shout out to the Mercer team next year. Assuming Mercer will NOT be in the mix next year due to the loss of the 5 seniors ... could be a mistake. Those 5 seniors practiced EVERY DAY against somebody. Thinking that experience will be lost or gone is folly. No doubt Mercer will likely not be the favorite but assuming they will not be in the mix ... we shall see.

Yea Mercer will be in the thick of it next year but it will a much closer 12 region. Lincoln should be the favorites to win the 12 next year.
