I don't keep up with the Lady Camels enough to know: Which player transferred from Scott after last season? Isn't it odd/funny how things work out sometimes, that now her old team is in the championship game while her new team was knocked out in the semis.

Just shows we all have to be careful what we assume sometimes.

Not that anything needs to be explained to you but Lexi transferring to Campbell was due to a divorce between her mother and stepfather and her and her mother had to move in with family in Alexandria so might want to know facts before speaking out loud. Just saying. Lexi is a great kid and just played her last high school game so nobody needs to hear your sarcastic remarks. By the way don’t forget where you are from Camelman.

Your comments are alittle tiring. Playing against Bracken did nothing for Campbell that night. For one the starters never even shot on the goal at the end zone by stage and that showed the first half. Campbell did nothing wrong against Bracken. They starters played the first half and that was it. Nothing wrong with that at all. I could see your complaint if starters were in second half and still pressed.

Woe now. What makes you think I was taking a jab at her or anyone. But thanks for sharing all of that background for all to see. Pointing out that things are not always what they appear to be. You can or can't be for school X, Y or Z and still talk facts. That was the facts whether it shines good upon your school, that school or whichever. Have to find it in yourself if you want to face the truth or not. I know it hurts sometimes, but I still face it. The sun will come up in the morning. Just saying.

Congrats Goldie, this one stings a little bit. Good luck the rest of the way.

Thanks my friend. I know how you feel, I have been there before. I had just said a prayer for your team that angels be with them and comfort them.

The camels now bring a very good nucleus back.. they had a great season and dominated local girls basketball and will be a force to reckon with next year We saw several girls on the court last night in a big game and unfortunately one of our best players in Mallory Holbroo was injured but suspect she will be heard from next year

Don’t worry about Camels - they will be just fine and back in same position next year

I wish nothing but the best for the Campbell Seniors. I got to watch many of your game over the years. You are all amazing players.

Keep it Rolling GRC!!!!

Campbell had a great year but to many on here got way ahead of themselves and forgot you still have to play the games.

Go Simon Kenton

Isn't it odd/funny that her new team won another district title this year, and she won the first championship she had ever won? While her old team again won nothing and was blown out by the same team the Camels took to the wire.

Agreed. Truly is.

Wow.....emotions running high in this thread. Although, I can definitely respect a parent defending their child when EDITED.

GRC pulls the big upset and defeats the #1 team in the state. Thrilled for the Lady Cards and Coaching staff. GRC attacks the press and made CC pay.

Not sure if anyone has commented but this is not the biggest upset of the day! Biggest upset was Manual (who lost to Sacred Heart by 47 in the LIT) beating the same Sacred Heart team 55-52!!!!! Both games are huge upsets but I will put the Manual win two or three steps ahead of this one!
