Frankfort 33 Danville 13

Featured Replies

My hats off to Frankfort! They controlled the pace of the game! Im glad we have a week off to regroup for the playoffs. This loss is not as bad as it seems,I would much rather play Frankfort again with us losing than if we would have won a close game!

I'm not so sure about this one. Now the Ads must go right back into Frankfort and play the 2nd week of the playoffs, instead of getting the Panthers in the friendly confines of Admiral stadium. Frankfort will have all the confidence in the world, and Danville will have some doubts. I listened to most of the game while I was at the Boyle Co. game, and from what I could tell, Frankfort really dominated the Ads in the second half.

Good news, the Ads have a week off to prepare for the playoffs, and if anyone can get them ready, it's coach Harp. Good luck Ads the rest of the way.

Congrats to the Panthers! All week long, post after post stating Frankfort has no class and Danville is a class act. It was not very classy for the Admirals to be jumping around, screaming and being right next to the players and their families as they were being honored for senior night, IMO that shows disrespect, not class. Also, speaking of class, some of the Admirals were throwing helmets and jerking away from coaches on the sidelines, does that show class? Point being, do not be so quick to make statements or judgements regarding class.

If what you are saying is true, that is sad. I guess, as someone put it, it is easy to be classy when you win all the time...harder when you lose. But, if they were not respectful during the senior night ceremony, that is uncalled for.

When was the last time Frankfort beat Danville?

I was very surprised with the outcome...........but why are all the Danville fans so down? Yeah we got our butts handed to us......but look at times in the past for instance in 98! Lex Cath handed that team a bad loss and it looked as if there was no hope......then what happened in the regional finals. Yes Frankfort is good. Are they good enough to beat Danville again...yes. The question is what did Danville learn last night and how will they correct it? From what I saw.........after the first interception in the second half Danville had no fire about themselves. Play calling again just as last year against Bardstown helped get them beat. Why run jet when jet doesn't work. You don't beat speed by trying to get the corner. And anyways.......you have a 6'5 reciever who is probally your best player out there..........why can you not get him the ball. In big games big players step up............but if playcalling doesn't allow them too.....then what are they to do. I am saying put it in your playmakers hands.......and they do the rest. Look at what Frankfort did. I have my hopes for the ADS.........that is if they get back to work!

Oh yeah.........as for offense...........or an offensive cooridinator for Danville look no furhter than about 10 miles away for a former Danville player.................Mr. Clay Clevenger........look at what he is doing at Lincoln.....although those are two of the best backs I have seen!

Very impressed with the secondary of FHS, sensational pick by Jouett over the 6-5 U.K. prospect. FHS pass defense was very stingy, great coverage and only allowed one completed pass late in the 4th quarter.

I would have to agree Cameron did an outstanding job,as did the entire defense. Danville's QB didn't have a whole lot of time to throw most of the night . Just a tremendous effort on everyones part. It's now time to come back down to earth and take care of Trimble next week.:thumb:

Advocate-Messenger reported this morning that Frankfort beat Danville for the first time since 1948.

I've noticed this throughout high school football. I think you could have a great deal of success running slants, but it seems like coaches only want to throw it deep (with limited success), or keep it on the ground.

AMEN BROTHER! kEEP THE CHAINS MOVIN! Frankfort looked like wild crazed dogs last nite! Danville looked like scared pups after the score by frankfort early in the 3rd. 2 int's later, ballgame! Antoine Robinson is a leg churnin non stoppin force to be reckoned with. Shame he is 5' 6" or so. Mini Earl Campbell for all you old timers and history buffs. DON'T RELAX FRANKFORT! STILL A LONG WAY TILL YOU GET TO THE BIG PIZZA PARLOR in the VILLE!

Well, I guess that Danville should get ready to turn in the ole equipment 3 weeks from now, because this thing is turning into "Dead Ads walkin"; guess this will be the 1st time the Admirals haven't played for a Regional title since maybe 97??

Frankfort made their statement and won the battle for sure..now Admirals, can you win the war??????????

Congrats to Coach Foley and the Panthers. They look like the real deal. May have a shot at the big prize.

The Panthers proved they are the real deal, beating Danville for the first time in years, with outstanding performances by Fields, Robinson and the entire Panther team. Now it is time to concentrate on Trimble and the rest of their opponents one game at time.

I arrived early and saw the entire ceremony from the visitor side and witnessed none of the disruptions you speak of.

I think that they are referring to Danville finishing up their team offensive group work in pre-game while the Senior Night festivities were going on as well; don't think that it was meant as any disrespect to the Panther seniors and their parents....

That was the topic of discussion amongst many in the stands I assure you.:thumb:
