Andre Miller is better than Matt Walls?

 

Why is a player like Jaron Jones who shot nearly less than 30% from the field listed? I saw him play two games where he went 1 for 12 and another where he went 2 for 11.

 

BGP has a lot of 16th Region posters that has explained Vanhoose's game quite a few times, what part of Vanhoose's game made you leave him off your list? He is signed for Evansville at the D1 level.

 

What is the reason for Jeremy Anderson being left off?

I can name a few in the last few years:

JaJuan Spillman, Jazz Neal, Maurice Blakey, Carlos Williams, and recently Adam Decker...just to name a few..And when I say great I'm no speaking as if they are legendary, just that they are great in the PRP System.

 

I'd say Spillman was the best though.

Well I'm not sure it seems like he was playing on the UofL football team the last I remember so yeah I do believe he qualified, but I'm not positive about that..I believe Jazz Neal had a scholarship offer to Valparaiso a D-I program in Indiana but didn't qualify so I think he ended up at a Junior College in Illionois, the name excapes me though. Not sure if he is even still playing though..He was an unbelievable guard also I saw him a few times in the Sweet 16.

That is a pretty decent list also. I would take Wade from Shelby County out though. I think he is good, but not good enough for top 10 in the state.

That is why I listed them by Senior and Junior class and not by a "top ten" method. Although some can find fault in Wade's game, he's a very good player, with excellent size and will have an outstanding season.

 

The guard from PRP is Adam Decker. Also, Ballou from Adair County is a sophomore, and Doss star Jeff Brooks is a senior and probably in the top 1 or 2 in terms of potential.

Thanks MRN, Decker is super quick and Jeff Brooks is very impressive. So Ballou is a Sophomore....wow, if he keeps progressing he will be a name to follow.

Just a quick question...who was the last great guard for PRP?

1) Didn't know about Morgan, again hard to track all....

2) I like Wade, he gets criticized for being non-aggressive because of his size and most thought, he would be better, since he had success early.

3) Ballou, thought he was older and listed him in the Juniors....

4) Didn't know Haddix had went to Vegas, but BE made me aware of.....

5) Never said Andre Miller is better than Matt Walls, just left his name off unintentionally....Miller is near 6'-6" and I like his size and ability.

6) Austin Hill at Holmes played on the Shining Star team and I believe led his team in scoring and possibly votes MVP. He's very good, no intent for leaving him off but simple answer, didn't know his grade.

7) Jaron Jones from Bryan Stations, is near 6'-4" or 5" and plays excellent defense, leaps well and can score. Like anyone has off days.

8) VanHoose from Russell, is an excellent shooter and is near 6'-2" or 3" but not as laterally quick to create his own shot, as some others.

9) Jeremy Anderson from Warren Central is a very good guard but me personally, I like Britt if given a choice but just my preference.

 

I tried to answer all your questions and again, lists like these are "opinions" and no intent to slight anyone. Anyone can pick apart my list, no problem but I posted 10 Seniors and 10 Juniors, who I thought were deserving and I certainly left off many others, equally deserving.

A bunch of good players have been named. The best player not named in any of these top 10 lists is Victor Moses, a 6'4"/6'5" junior at Henry Clay. It is amazing to me that he is flying under the radar on some of these top 10 lists.

 

I don't have to talk him up.......his performance this season will take care of that. I think he is a top 10 player regardless of class in the state of Kentucky.

Can anyone confirm that Bud Mackey has verballed to Indiana University? I thought I read that in the paper this morning. Isnt he only a jr?

I agree 100% OK St. & Ark. has called & asked about him. To me @ the end of season he was the go to guy
