Pairings for the 2018 St. Elizabeth Healthcare/KHSAA Girls’ Sweet Sixteen® and the 2018 Whitaker Bank/KHSAA Boys’ Sweet Sixteen® will be revealed on Wednesday, January 31st at 1 p.m. (ET) when the annual Sweet 16® Draw Show is televised by The CW Lexington. The Sweet 16® Draw Show will also be streamed live online at KHSAA.tv and WKYT.com.

 

The 2018 St. Elizabeth Healthcare/KHSAA Girls’ Sweet 16® will be held March 7-11 at BB&T Arena on the campus of Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, with the 2018 Whitaker Bank/KHSAA Boys’ Sweet 16® taking place March 14-18 at Rupp Arena in Lexington. Each game of the boys’ and girls’ Sweet 16® will be webcast live at khsaa.tv for subscribers to the NFHS Network. By purchasing a month pass to the NFHS Network, fans could watch all 30 games of the boys’ and girls’ Sweet 16® for just $9.95.

 

Brackets with official pairings will be available on the KHSAA/Riherds.com Scoreboard and the basketball home page at KHSAA.org following the conclusion of the draw show. Full-session ticket packages for the Boys’ and Girls’ Sweet 16® will go on sale to the general public in February, with additional information posted at KHSAA.org when tickets become available.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say the 11th Region v 12th Region in first round.

9th vs 7th seems likely.

I hope the 6th, 7th, 9th, and 11th are in 4 separate quadrants.

I hope the 12th gets the best possible draw imaginable and I hope the 11th, 7th, 9th and 6th all have to play each other by Friday night.

My only official title this year in HS basketball is Boyle County basketball Dad. I want those four regions to cannabilize each other so we can have some exciting games in the first two rounds. Word.

When we get good draws we wouldn't win region. Hopefully that will change this year. We will win region and also get a good draw. That is what I am hoping for.
