Douglass just out played them the defense gave Catholic a lot of problems.

I saw FD earlier in the season, for a first year program they're not a bad team, very young. They won't punch out many teams in the 11th region, but can play with the middle of the road teams.

Very shocking. A 16-point loss to a team that itself had lost to a very subpar Harrison County team its previous game. FD had also lost to a middle-of-the-road Beechwood team in late December.

I didn't say they would them all, just be competitive with.

From afar it seems like NCCHS doesn’t have the depth they usually have. Is that off base?

Correct, not the same team as in the past.

I think they currently have a couple players injured, but not 100% positive on that.

My guess is what usually happens, the speed and athletsism of the Lexington teams causes a lot of problems for the other region teams outside of Louisville and Lexington. Also shows the strength of the 11th region, since Douglass is probably considered a middle of the pack team this year in the 11th. That's not a bad thing, they are just better then a lot of people think, and can really disrupt a teams flow and game plan. Just my 2 cents worth anyway.

Your points are correct their quickness and speed gave NCC problems. Also Douglass depth wore them down the Broncos play about 10-12 guys.

I would disagree. In a lot of years when NCC was a region contender they were so with about 6 to 7 players max.

Correct, not the same team as in the past.

When you lose a Ben Weyer and Drew McDonald who roamed those halls between the two of them for quite a while, they are very hard to replace. They each are having outstanding college careers and were guys who both scored, rebounded, and defended well. They were different players obviously, but they were dominant players and for awhile they played together.

Looks like you get my drift.
