I’d had rather seen them take their chances in overtime with several plays at their command than to put all their hopes on making one play work. They struggle enough the way it is to get 3rd down conversions, much less making good on a one and done play to end the game.

If that play they ran gave them the best shot, I would really hate to see the other two.

I was sitting right behind the end zone and watched the play develop in front of me. NW wasn't fooled...at all.

Fooled them enough where Richardson was open enough to make a catch he should have made.

In real life it didn't look he should have made it. I watched the receivers run their routes from behind the play and it just felt like a doomed play to me. I knew it was over as soon as I saw what was happening. I felt it would have been a better chance to have Johnson run for it. Or some kind of deception.

I would have been ok with either choice. I think I would have gone for it.

Typically the players want to go for it.

I agree.

If the coach thinks his team is physically beat up, or if he doesn’t trust his D, he goes for it instead of continuing the game.

I loved them going for 2. The fact the attempt was no good was the cherry on top for me. I did like the call to go for 2 though.

If he didn't trust his D after their 2nd half performance, he wasn't watching the game.
