October 15, 200619 yr Guys, said it many times before and say It once again....Brooks is not the man to turn UK's football woes around. With only 17 winning seasons, in the last 52 or so, Brooks is not the first but he's not the answer either. My first and last comment on Brooks. I liked his recruiting class but enough of this "injuries, one more season, his recruits"....he's not the answer. Archer, has never been good at UK. I once posted his pts. allowed average per season, both times he was hired. Not impressive at all.

October 16, 200619 yr If Brooks is offered an extension but he is asked to let any of his assistants go, he isn't going to throw them under the bus. But I do agree that Archer better be doing something very soon.

October 16, 200619 yr I thought all the Big Blue Faithful predicted a solid defense this season. Wasn't Micah Johnson supposed to fix the Wildcat defense. Name 5 true freshman over the past few years that have fixed any defense in college football.

I thought the kid was way over rated coming out of high school. I must have read a hundred posts on message boards proclaiming Micah as the savior of the UK defense. There was even an article in the paper a week ago explaining that he was basically a disappointment to this point.
