UK wouldn't open up the wallet.
October 17, 200619 yr With the Talent we have on Defense, That clearly shows that Archer is the blame.I'm beginging to think this isn't the case. UK has SPOT talent on defense, but too many holes and players playing out of position. For example, UK really could use both David Jones and Curtis Pulley in the defensive backfield. Then the front 7 might get a little stiffer, not to mention a better chance to get at the QB before he can get the ball off. Micah Johnson at end would be another good move, IMO
October 17, 200619 yr I didn't predict it. I laughed at it. I thought the kid was way over rated coming out of high school. I must have read a hundred posts on message boards proclaiming Micah as the savior of the UK defense. There was even an article in the paper a week ago explaining that he was basically a disappointment to this point. He said he wasn't satisfied with he play.
October 17, 200619 yr You can complain about Brooks until never ends, but the fact is that he got the job at UK because nobody else wanted it. I tend to agree with you on this one, although it appears to be a theory IMO that is widely overlooked.
