Any and everybody is allowed to have an opinion about anything. That's never been my point. That does not mean they should have any influence, at all, on what goes on at a particular institution.

 

I agree that their should be a process and people should not have to get involved.

Everyone needs to lay off the personal comments. Everybody. Whether you are calling somebody out or mentioning that someone else is doing so. That is rule 2 territory.

But you are sooooo wrong on this issue because it is the alumni that was for and against the whole situation that influenced the decision of the administration.

 

On one side you had Highlands most decorated and respected alumn writing letters and and emails in dissatisfaction of BW performance which eventually were leaked to BW which imo caused a halt to letters coming because of a lack of trust.

 

And on the other hand you had a former alumn who rallied other former and current players to voice their opinions of support on the decision which had already according to some was a final decision

All of us alumni want what is best for our program and we do have a right to express our concerns of the current state of Highlands Football. Some support him and some don’t. What the biggest crock is that the spineless admin currently in place didn’t have the guts to take the alumni concerns into consideration. They just sent the emails directly to BW. That put him into panic mode in which phone calls and emails were made to current players and parents. Then parent(s) sent out emails to other parents to have their sons write emails to the admin to show support for BW. Now aren’t these the same players who he says aren’t talented enough to win..

Good points, I would like to think that ignorance and the lack of knowledge of the names who wrote the letters and their status in the community will haunt this current administration in the very near future from a support standpoint across the district.

 

Maybe not but we shall see

This decision made by the admin is going to hurt in other ways as well. The education foundation is going to hurt from lack of support from the people who donate money to watch the games from the cafeteria. I see a down turn in support there because people aren’t going to show up to watch badly coached football. Game attendance will drop which will hurt in revenue. Annual booster money will drop which will hurt all sports.

Ill ask again... It’s okay for people to send emails of their disapproval of BW, but you have an issue with people sending emails in support of him? That’s how your post reads. Maybe that’s not what you mean, and if not, I’d love for you to clarify.

Ask all you want. You continue to apologize for BW and you dont bring any facts why he should be kept on. You want to challenge what everyone says and try to play “gotcha”. Until you have sat there at games home and away and seen the badly coached football that us fans/alumni have seen than your points are mute to us. So go play gotcha in another thread because that seems to be your motive...
