Science Friction
8. ... ??? Never reaching the end Letters I've written Never meaning to send Beauty I'd always missed With these eyes before Just what the truth is I can't say any more 'Cause I love you Yes I love you Oh how I love you
mcpapa
5. She said she's married her an architect Who kept her warm and safe and dry She would have liked to say she loved the man But she didn't like to lie I said the years had been a friend to her And that her eyes were still as blue But in those eyes I wasn't sure if I saw Doubt or gratitude ... The beer was empty and our tongues were tired And running out of things to say She gave a kiss to me as I got out And I watched her drive away Just for a moment I was back at school And felt that old familiar pain And, as I turned to make my way back home The snow turned into rain Dan Fogelberg. You hear that one quite a bit this time of year.

frankdracman23
9. Bah Humbug; now that's too strong! 'Cause it is my favorite holiday. But all this year's been a busy blur Don't think I have the energy To add to my already mad rush Just 'cause it's 'tis the season. The perfect gift for me would be Completions and connections left from last year. Ski shop encounter most interesting. Had his number but never the time, Most of '81 passed along those lines. So deck those halls. Trim those trees. Raise up cups of Christmas cheer. I just need to catch my breath; Christmas by myself this year

coldweatherfan
7. One of SF's all-time fave's... Love of two is one Here but now they're gone Came the last night of sadness And it was clear she couldn't go on Then the door was open and the wind appeared The candles blew then disappeared The curtains flew then he appeared, saying don't be afraid Seasons don't fear the reaper, nor do the wind, the sun or the rain, we can be like they are... B-Ball-fan
If I told you what it takes To reach the highest high You'd laugh and say nothing's that simple But you've been told many times before Messiahs pointed to the door And no one had the guts to leave the temple! B-Ball-fan
Well I came upon a child of God, he was walking along the road And I asked him tell me where are you going, this he told me: Said, I'm going down to Yasgur's farm, going to join in a rock and roll band. Got to get back to the land, and set my soul free. We are stardust, we are golden, we are billion year old carbon, And we got to get ourselves back to the garden.
