Science Friction
I'll give you some lyrics of a classic tune from yesteryear(you know, back when music was good) and you tell me the name of the tune. If you know it , feel free to NAME THAT TUNE. Only answer if you know it off the top of your head. No googling the answer, please. On a morning from a Bogart movie In a country where they turn back time You go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre Contemplating a crime She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running Like a watercolor in the rain Don't bother asking for explanations She'll just tell you that she came... What a tale my thoughts could tell Just like an old time movie About a ghost from a wishing well In a castle dark or a fortress strong With chains upon my feet You know that ghost is me And I will never be set free As long as I'm a ghost you can

Got out of town on a boat goin' to Southern Islands Sailing a reach before a followin' sea She was makin' for the trades on the outside And the downhill run to Papeete Off the wind on this heading lie the Marquesas We got eighty feet of the waterline nicely making way In a noisy bar in Avalon I tried to call you But on a midnight watch I realized why twice you ran away

I doubt there's a song from the 50's through the '90's I could stump you with. You're the best when it comes to old movies/songs. Simply the best!!! Science Friction
5. She said she's married her an architect Who kept her warm and safe and dry She would have liked to say she loved the man But she didn't like to lie I said the years had been a friend to her And that her eyes were still as blue But in those eyes I wasn't sure if I saw Doubt or gratitude ... The beer was empty and our tongues were tired And running out of things to say She gave a kiss to me as I got out And I watched her drive away Just for a moment I was back at school And felt that old familiar pain And, as I turned to make my way back home The snow turned into rain

One pill makes you larger And one pill makes you small And the ones that mother gives you Don't do anything at all Go ask Alice when she's ten feet tall ... When men on the chessboard Get up and tell you where to go And you've just had some kind of mushroom And your mind is moving slow Go ask Alice, I think she'll know
