Looks like 15 out of the last 16 games for Trinity. The game has lost much of its luster. With what Trinity has coming up, i don’t see things changing anytime soon.

Couple of things...Rondale Moore irks me.

 

X’s pass defense is not good and X’s inability to have a passing game is so head scratching. X can line up and run over about 80% of the teams on their schedule, but T can match them at the LOS so their running game becomes almost non existent because they cannot consistently move the ball through the air. I hope for the sake of this rivalry X can keep the score respectable.

To be fair from 2001-2003 T had Brian Brohm behind center, a lot of casual fans would go to see him in action.

Trinity's been great for decades, but the Beatty era has put them on another level. I'll ask you this because you're a Trinity fan - Is it fair to say that a large percentage of the Rocks' fan base has become complacent and spoiled with all of the success they've had in the last 17 years, or so?

The casual fan not going to drive to Lexington when know result before game. If it was perceived to be competitive would have better crowd.

No matter the talent the X Offense is a real disappointment.

I beg to differ, it won't be at this game unless it is in LOUISVILLE. They may have great fan bases, but they will NOT drive to Lexington. That is why at one time the 4A or the old 3A before 1975 was played in Louisville and the rest played in Lexington.

I look for next years game to be very close, with X having a slight edge. After that, with Trinity’s Best group of freshman in years coming up look out. If Trinity brings in another group of freshman like this years group, Katy bar the door.
