Just use some common sense. Why was he in that situation. You couldn't just walk around JT? You had to walk basically through him? Dumb.

I disagree, Meyer wanted to see if it looked like an intentional act ...he (Meyer) said that he was upset / mad at himself in that he didn't see it, wasn't there to tell the cameraman to move or have him told to move. Meyer , like any coach, was looking out for his player. Again ...any coach would take issue with that, or at least I would hope they would.

Not exactly a smoking gun, but here appears to be some video of the situation shortly before and immediately after the injury occurred.

 

 

Sounds like the guy taking the video saw what happened, but wasn't recording at the time.

Sidelines are muddled messes with media, players, ex-players, and other support staff in a confined area. I am not assigning blame or excusing the situation, it is just the reality of it at college stadiums with no safe uniformity about it. The teams on the sidelines are equally as guilty for allowing so many folks on their side of the field.
