November 8, 20178 yr First Ballot HOFer right? I loved the guy, especially when he pitched for my Phillies. And my first thought was yes, he’s first ballot. He was the best pitcher in baseball for a decade. But ultimately, his other 6 years weren’t great, and I think his win total, only 205, would give voters pause.

November 8, 20178 yr The Chris Carpenter / Roy Halladay 1-0 duel in game 5 of the 2011 NLDS is one of my favorite baseball games of all time. RIP to Doc Halladay. One of those players you specifically bought tickets to see pitch. He was a master.
