Jake Chisholm- good player , great character, but he’s a 185 and runs a high 4.5 . Yards don’t mean anything in nky . The competition is not the same . He needs to play d2 or d3 and get his strength and speed up to be d1. Don’t make him feel like he’s slighted because he’s not. D1 you have to think about nationwide talent . Good luck Jake.

465 back squat is in the top percent of any running back you will find coming out of high school

Jake is plenty strong. Stength in high school is overrated. I’ve had many D1 coaches and Strength coaches tell me that athleticism trumps stength on the high school level. These strength coaches can get them plenty strong when they get ahold of them. They say athleticism and work ethic is what they look for and Jake had both coming out of his ears

Never said he was weak. Strength has nothing to do with speed , 4.5 at 200+ , understandable ,but 185 for D1 is a no go. He just has to get faster . You can’t teach speed

Your original post mentioned speed and strength. Anyway, Just wait, after Dec 1st, they’ll come calling. After early signing period in December when the 200+ guys running the 4.5 sign elsewhere, they’ll come calling. I’m convinced

The Enquirer had a story about the game today and listed Parker Bisek as a Purdue commit. I thought he committed to a MAC school?

Is there any second guessing from the Ryle faithfull regarding how Chisolm was used in the last two regular season games? I thought that nearly 50 carries against SK might come with a price later on down the road. I can understand Ryle wants to beat SK at all cost, but given they are no longer district rivals, should Chisolm have been used that way, and should he have sat out against Dixie?

You play all games to win. Otherwise why schedule them or keep score. We constantly hear people harp about how important strength of schedule is, but then people turn around and say you should restrict your starters playing time in games that don’t mean anything. If only district games are important let’s just schedule the 4 or 5 district games you play every year and do away with the rest.

They should have rested the starters against Dixie.

Strength actually plays an integral part of power output and ground force reactions which increases speed.

That was an error by the reporter, He committed to U of Toledo back in June. Thought these guys had to get 2 sources before they report, lol
