TAC
The teams got very lucky to get a day off before heading to LA. Would have loved to have seen the coaching strategy if they had to play again tonight.
sweet16
For The Love of the Game!!!! If your sleeping, your missing a classic!!! I recorded it and finished this morning. I couldn't hang past the 8th inning.
sweet16
I don’t follow baseball like I did years ago but how did these teams get this far with pitching like this? 38 runs scored in the last two games!!! The bullpens are also worn out from managers overusing and over-managing in the playoffs. Morrow had nothing tonight. The announcers were saying all game he was not available but Roberts brought him in and he got rocked.
The Professor
This gotta start these games earlier. 90% of the people probably went to bed before the end. Agreed. Start at least 1 hour earlier. Of course it doesn’t affect the other time zones as much as it does the eastern part of the country.

Roberts pulling Kershaw at 83 pitches in his first start and then pulling Rich Hill in the 4th inning of his start are coming back to haunt the Dodgers. ManOfTroy
Can it be an all-time great WS game if it is not a clincher or a Game 7? I don't know but this was as good of a WS game as I have ever seen.
CincySportsFan
Can it be an all-time great WS game if it is not a clincher or a Game 7? I don't know but this was as good of a WS game as I have ever seen. It'd have to go in the top 10, I'd imagine. A lot of people will probably say last year's game 7 was the pinnacle of WS games, since it was a winner-take-all scenario. A few others that come to my mind... Game 6 between the Reds/Red Sox with Fisk's HR Finale between Twins/Braves in which Morris pitches shutout Blue Jays beat Phillies with Carter's walkoff homer Gibson pinch-hit HR off Eck in Dodgers/A's Diamondbacks beat the Yankees and Rivera in game

CincySportsFan
Just did a Google search for the best WS games. This just came out after last night's game. There's a couple that I had forgot. sweet16
I don't put last night's game above the 1991 or 2011 game. They were both elimination games.
