October 28, 20178 yr 8 and a bunch of dudes. 10 has played very few snaps on defense this year and was absent today. The CBs were wretched but only slightly worse than LB, S and DL. At some point, there was no reason for UofL to bother punting or kicking off deep because WF was going to score regardless of where they got the ball. Might as well have gone Hal Mumme and gone for it on 4th down and onsides kick every time. Awful. That said, refs missed 2 OL downfield on WF last TD. Didn't matter. UofL was going to lose regardless.

October 29, 20178 yr This season has been infuriating if only because we all knew the Sirmon hire was a disaster the minute it was announced. Watching Louisville play defense this season has been like being in A Clockwork Orange only I'm not even being held down, I'm just Ludovico-treatmenting myself and the result is that I don't think I like football anymore. Pavlovian upchuck reaction to seeing Louisville on a gridiron. Everyone involved should be embarassed that a once-in-a-generation player might not even go to a bowl game this year solely because the defense can't figure out the most basic things.
