I want to give a big :thumb: :thumb: to the Raceland Fans that know my physical limitations and express their support. I am very limited in to how many games I can attend and where. I started not to post this bc I don't like using it as a crutch, I am not like that. Also a Thank You to some of the fans of opposing teams like Ashland, LCA and Bath Co. that I have gotten to know through BGP. This is what makes BGP so great. By being a huge fan and having been around the Raceland Football Program for 35 years or more I have been watching the Raceland Ramblers and Rams football for well over half my life. By the radio webcast I can now follow the games that I cannot attend. That coupled with some cell phone calls from fellow old ramblers I can get a pretty good picture in my mind as to what is going on. I apologize if this post if off the subject of the game last night but I just wanted to express my thanks to all. Also a big thank you to radio 1080am for carrying all the Raceland games, home and away and to the sponsors of the broadcast, I will definately be supporting those sponsors businesses (spelling?).

Bath County is still in pretty good shape for the playoffs. They have two district games remaining, against Nicholas County and Berea, which should both be wins. That would have them finishing 3-3, and as long as Fairview doesn't pull upsets against both Raceland and Lexington Christian, Bath County would hold the tiebreaker and make their first playoff appearance since 1998.

gchs uk9 Bath Co. will be fine, they have their program headed back in the right direction. Good luck to the Wildcats the rest of the way.:thumb:

TBF misses his first regular season football game in over 20 years, looks like he should stay away more often.

Congrats Ramblers....

Does anyone know if Raceland had any injuries Friday night?

In reading the post it seems like R-Land was able to turn in a solid team game.

Total Team effort from every position.:thumb:

I didn't see anybody come off injured Friday night. But I don't know for sure.

:thumb: Remember Oldrambler!! Once a Ram always a Ram. I can assure you that all the players & everyone associated with Raceland athletics appreciate your Ram Pride Support!!

No injuries, but there was an ejection for both teams. So both players will miss this Friday's game.

Unfortunate never the less.

I knew that both teams had a player ejected, kids have to show control and restraint. Football is an emotional game but it doesn't do anyone any good to do something stupid.

Thank You cville, I have been around for quite a while. When a person coached Randy Vanderhoof in his first year of youth baseball it means one thing - I have seen a lot of Raceland sports for a Looooooooooong time.;) On a side note, Coach Hoof was as intense as a little kid playing what was then called "minor league" youth baseball as he is now. Just think, he survived my coaching and still has been a sucsess
