Is anybody going to check this out? It looks like Lumenocity on steroids.

My co-worker was just talking about this… It looks cool!

(Every time I see the ad though I think about Blink 182, and pull up some of their music to play.)

I was just going to start a thread! Just texted the MRS. and told her I'd like to go tonight.

Sounds pretty cool. I wonder if you'll be able to see it from a distance, like on top of the hill?

From what I read, there are many things to see. Music being played, different sides of buildings. You will see some, but no where near all of it.

Everything you need to know about BLINK Cincinnati

Looks like an awesome event that is really drawing some people downtown. Good for them! It could have been advertised a little better though. I hadn't heard of it until maybe a day or two ago. Looking at the Enquirer's web page and I don't see anything about it! At least not on their top stories page.

I don't know how many tax dollars went to support this but you have to spend money to make money and so far it looks like money well spent!

Downtown was packed last night. Bars and restaurants were jammed. Parking was at a premium. As for Blink itself, very underwhelming. Random buildings with random lights being flashed onto the side. Blow up figs in different areas, not a whole lot of music.

I preferred luminosity hands down over this event

Great way to spend the tax dollars.

Why don't you tell us how much in tax dollars were spent on this?

BTW Cincinnati police announced that they will be present on every street corner so that all can enjoy and have a nice night and not worry about safety.

Who is paying for that?

They were all over the place. Making it feel very safe. I spoke to several. All said it was trouble free. It was a huge night for family fun due to fall break and the parade.

I love the positivity you bring to the conversation.

It gets people out in the city that aren't your normal bar goers. And its something different for people who like to do things in their city. Not everyone can be bumps on logs.
