And her job is literally to cover the Carolina Panthers football team. She obviously knows A LOT about football and is obviously pretty good at her job. If she wasn't capable of explaining routes or wasn't able to diagram a play she should be fired just like any male should as well.

I think you guys are giving writers a lot more credit then maybe you should. There are some who really know their stuff. I would be surprised if most writers could draw up Stick or an Over or Under or any number of other things.

I think you aren't giving the writers enough credit. I'm sure there are some who couldn't tell you what an RPO is or what a double A gap blitz or any other football concept. But I would say probably 75% of them do.

Yes it was sexist. Yes it was stupid. NFL players are interviewed waaaay too much. Theyre going to screw up sometimes. Lets move past it.
