So now Conner is ranked 10th in the BGPs ranking. So when SK beats them it will be considered a quality win.

I have no idea why Conner is ranked 11. I have a feeling they couldn't find a top 10 so they just threw Conner in there. Feel Free to call it a Top 9

You got lots to see if Conner is best you've seen so far. CC,Highlands, Beechwood,Ryle,SK, NCC, easily all better than Conner

6A is really weak in NKY this year. Doesn't really matter who comes out of NKY this year. Just like most every year you can't beat a school with 3 times the student body and gets them from all over. SK enjoy your run this year but unfortunately it will end the same as it always does.

Nothing SK does is considered quality to bgpers.......just different year same story!

With Tropical Storm Harvey moving into the area and Conner's mud field I expect a low scoring game. The mud will slow the SK passing game and the runners will be sliding around. Both teams better break out the long cleats. I still can't figure out why the Boone County schools don't have turf. Don't put too much into this game if the final score is close because of conditions. I wonder if they will move the game to SK to keep players from getting hurt. The news is calling for 3 inches of rain on Friday. This will be a mud bowl.

From the National Weather Service as of this morning.

Friday Day

A chance of showers after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night

Showers likely, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Some local stations have appeared to overblow the precipitation levels then. Looks like southern and central KY. will be a mess.

Now you know if this isnt a blowout the SK HATERS will be on it like flies on......... you know the rest.

What's your point? Does SK only have 433.3333 boys? That would be 1/3 of the male population at Trinity. In another thread didn't SK's number 1 fan say that they had open enrollment and kids from out of their district?

Now you know if this isnt a blowout the SK HATERS will be on it like flies on......... you know the rest.

The Pioneers could walk on water and some would say it was hard water.

Haters gonna hate.

6A in northern kentucky is so "watered down" in Boone Co. Too many kids Spread between 4 schools. I mean Heck NKY couldnt win 4A when it was the biggest class in ky. and that was when their was only 2 schools. WAY before Ryle and Cooper were built. With that being said, SK should win this easily!

Excuse making. What was the population in Boone County when they had two schools? What was the enrollment count in those two schools versus the enrollment count in the four schools now? I will help you out with the second question:

2017 enrollments:

Boone County ... 1,401

Conner ............. 1,415

Cooper ............. 1,341

Ryle ................. 1,812

2002 enrollments

Boone County ... 1,407

Conner ............. 1,363

Cooper ............. 0

Ryle ................. 1,310

No watering down happening. The schools that were there in 2002 have the same or more students now and Ryle has significantly more. "Watering down" is a false argument.

I may have used wrong verbage. All i was saying is if ryle and cooper arent there those students go to Boone and Conner.

Also, on the Trinity enrollment questions, I am sorry to inform everyone that Trinity does not have a significant number of more boys than other 6A schools. There are several with just as many boys and some of those aren't even in the top 15 in the 6A rankings. Enrollment absolutely helps but it is not the reason for a team's football success. Football success goes far beyond just the numbers.

I may have used wrong verbage. All i was saying is if ryle and cooper arent there those students go to Boone and Conner.

Would that automatically make them better in football? Would that lead to state titles in 6A? I don't think so. See the other post just above about Trinity numbers.

I never said it would I said IN MY OPINION it would help #s on the football teams. Quantity does make quality but again IN MY OPINION I think Boone Co. would be better than they have been.
