Don't get ahead of yourself, I believe I saw where someone posted that the JC game is in 3 weeks. This means that you have some football to be played before then. I hope and I am sure that the kids won't be looking ahead that far and that the coaches will keep them focused.

I just read in this morning's paper that Greenup Co. was without their head coach last night. Coach Sammons was hospitalized Friday afternoon with chest pain. My prayers go out to him, and hope he's OK, and that he has a healthy return to the sidelines.

I didn't get to make it to last night's game due to lack of sleep. I know that Greenup Co.'s nose guard got a lot of praise for his play in the paper leading up to last night's game. Is it safe to assume from the score of last nights game that Ashland's center Michael Walters handled him pretty well?

Michael played very well last night. He seemed to have handled him the whole night.

It was defininetly a battle of the big boys. I feel personally that Michael had the upper hand in this one. :thumb:

Especially the ones coming of injuries, like Walters, and also Lacy Sondgrass has had injury troubles through out the whole season.

I had also heard that last night but no one posted it so I wasn't sure. Prayers go out to Coach Sammons from RamLand also.

The cats suffered a scare in the pre-game when Bonner twisted his knee again. It didn't appear to be very serious though and Bonner played well in limited action last night. Hope he is 100% for Mason next week.
