Did highlands have guys playing both ways on the line?

I don't know, I'm guessing they did becauseif they didn't they had some guys who were really out of shape because they wore down quick on drives that are the clock. Cooper did too.

Too many. Both teams were playing hot potato with the ball. At one point there were 3 Int's in 4 consecutive plays. Cooper threw a pick, next play HHS threw a pick and then Cooper ran the ball and then threw a pick.

He really played well too. He did a great job on Venneman. Cooper does have some pretty good DB's and you add Schlarman in there as a safety and they can slow

some teams down.

Now if they would just throw Perry the ball maybe Cooper could complete some passes.

Just watched this one and I believe that this was Highlands game, after they took the lead. Their defense had played very well, then once the offense caught up it was all over.

The pick in the 2nd half by #23, that he took to the house, was one where the QB threw five yards over the receivers head, so poor throw.

 

During the broadcast they reported that Cooper had six players playing two ways, while Highland had zero.

Can't wait to watch sisson as he develops. I was surprised not to see Nate Roberts much.

They could do that... but with how well I know Coach Borchers and his staff, they'll probably break down film, come up with a game plan, and then decide what's going to work best to beat NCC. If that's getting the ball to Perry, hey! I'll bet we see that. If it's getting the ball to someone else, that's what they'll do.

 

Fortunately, knowing what I know about Cooper and the offense, everyone on the field will eventually have an opportunity to make plays for the team.

No one on the line went both ways for highlands. O line was constant, d line rotated about 6-7 guys until the JV came in.

He is a focal point of the passing game, but it is also very important that the young man runs his routes hard and gets open. Receivers for Cooper, along with the QB spot, struggled a little bit Friday night but it will get better.
