Frankfort 35 Thomas Nelson 20

Featured Replies

Frankfort's big-play ability was too much for the Generals based on what I saw on Twitter. The lead was 35-6 at one point and TNHS got a pair of late scores.

Way to go Panthers!

Several big plays called back. This Frankfort team could be special. I liked what I saw from QB #5 Holt Hammons, when he got settled down, and #20 RB/LB Brandon Mack. Player of the game goes to #4 Ath/DB Dajuan Davis, I dont know exact stats but he had a few big plays on both ends of the ball.

They've been a bit down the last couple of years after fielding so many good teams under Foley. I'm glad to see them potentially getting back into the top tier of 1A.

Frankfort is going through a cycle that class A teams sometimes go through with numbers. Looks like they may be rebounding.

As for the game. Score was 35-20. It wasn't that close of a game. Both teams played even first half. Panthers turned it over twice in the redzone in the first half. Could have easily been 21-0.

Second half Panthers able to get on the board. At one point score was 35-6. TNHS put together a drive to made it 35-13. Panthers playing young guys. Forced to punt and had inexperienced guy punting. He miss handled the snap and TNHS scooped up the fumble to make the score 35-20.

Panthers have plenty of play makers. Concerns will be young offensive line and depth.

It was scoreless until late in the 2ndQ, and it was 13-6 going into the 4thQ. Seems pretty close.

Jim, score wise it was close.... But there was a difference when you watch the game. Like I said Frankfort was in the redzone twice in the first half and should have been 21-0

it was 35-6 with 5:35 to go in the game......

So outside of a 7-minute span -- in a 48-minute game -- it was a one-touchdown game, but THAT span makes it NOT a close game?

Ok. I guess.
