August 18, 20179 yr This is funny. The lovely lady went to WKU in the early 80's. She told her parents she was going to summer school, so they gave her her summer school tuition. She proceeded to follow Bob Segar across the country and did not enroll. I still don't think her parents know. As for me, not a huge fan but here they are since I hear hin OFTEN whne with her. 1. Like a Rock 2. We've Got Tonight 3. Against the Wind 4. Old Time Rock 'n Roll (best high school basketball warmup song IMHO) 5. Night Moves The lovely lady's: 1. Like a Rock 2. Night Moves 3. Old Time Rock n' Roll 4. Turn the Page 5. Against teh Win
August 18, 20179 yr Though I could never say that I was fully convinced that what I thought I was hearing was what I was truly hearing, but until this thread I always thought that "Betty Lou's Gettin' Out Tonight" was "Betty Lou's Gettin' Married Tonight" where Bob just wasn't exactly fully saying married, but more or less "Gettin' Marred Tonight", as if to say that she was no longer available.
August 19, 20179 yr 1. Beautiful Loser 2. Night Moves 3. Still the Same 4. Against the Wind 5. Turn the Page #814567321- "Old Time Rock and Roll". I'm ok if I never hear that one again. I've always liked Beautiful Loser as well.

August 19, 20179 yr My BFF and I are off to see Bob Seger in Noblesville on September 2! Can't wait! Hope you have a great time. I'm sure you will have a blast. Listening to Seger always takes me back to a great time in my life.
August 20, 20179 yr I loved Bob Seger when I was a kid and had access to my uncle's record collection. That's when I discovered that "Live Bullet" was the greatest live record ever, and was enamored with "Night Moves" as well. I enjoyed "Stranger In Town" and, to a lesser degree, "Against The Wind." After that, it's just bad.
August 21, 20179 yr Mainstreet Still The Same Beautiful Loser Night Moves Sunspot Baby Two of my favorites as well.
August 21, 20179 yr A couple of trivia items about Bob Seger: 1. Eric Church opened for him many years ago, which is a little odd due to the genre differences. 2. Glen Frey was one of his backup singers in the early 70"s.
