Ohio State, Bama, Clemson, FSU, etc. I say no and I used Torrance Gibson as an example of an extremely athletic kid who played QB in HS and when he got to OSU they told him he's going to play receiver. I think their playing styles and athleticism are very similar. Obviously Lamar proved he can play QB at a high level in college, I just don't think he ever gets the chance if he's at a "bigger" school.

We obviously have different ideas of what horrible means. He threw for 250 yards in only one of those games, only went for 150 against LSU. His best game statistically of the 3 was against UK where he threw 3 picks and had a fumble. He threw for 3 total TD's and ran for 2. Considering he was the QB and the RB. Those numbers were "horrible"

The only comparison that even comes close is Cam at Florida and he was behind one of the best ever college football players and he didn't even switch positions, probably because he was better than just about anyone else other than Mr. Tebow.

He wasn't the Heisman trophy winner when he got to Louisville. I'm saying Ohio State wouldn't have given him the chance to develop his talent at QB and would have wanted to see his athleticism on the field earlier at WR. When he got to OSU he wouldn't have been ahead of reigning Big 10 player of the year JT Barrett or national championship winning QB Cardale Jones. Nor was he as polished of a passer as Joe Burrow was when he arrived in the same class as Lamar. Ohio State simply wouldn't have had the opening for Lamar to play right away or even as a sophomore and his athleticism is too great to have him sit on the sidelines. He would have played WR.

Even if it leads others to question your judgment. It's pretty simple. I grew up a die hard UK basketball fan and a die hard Notre Dame football fan. Those were my dad's favorite teams so they were mine too and still are. However I also graduated from UK and so as a student went to many football games too and obviously with it being where I graduated from their football team also became a favorite I root for. So no confusion, pretty simple.
