Not sure what teams will be at Ryle's 7 v 7 tomorrow, but judging by the what my bride has to put together for volunteering, it should be a good showing. There will be a lineman competition as well. I think it goes from 4pm-8pm tomorrow 7/11

 

Showed up just before 5pm. No one was there. I guess it got rained out.

Greenup County is hosting their 1st annual Air Raid By The River on July 15. I'm not sure what teams are participating.

Eastern Kentucky University is host a 7 on 7 camp on July 25.

This was very disappointing. They could have just delayed the start by 60-90 minutes and the weather would have been perfect. Muddy for the lineman challange, but heck, that would have made it fun. The 7 v 7 would have gone off without a hitch. I'm sure the delay would have made for a long night traveling home, but it is summer. I was bummed about the decision.

I heard SK looked really good against Cooper today.

I thought Cooper looked really good also. Lots of scoring by both teams. WR Perry and Lee from Cooper couldnt be contained. Perry also had two interceptions in their first three possessions on defense.

I agree 100%. While SK was SK I thought that Cooper showed a lot of promise for being a very young team and held their own. Hope they keep progressing. For being a freshman, Lee is going to draw a lot of attention, kid is a player, ultra quick and once he figures out the technical side of things he is going to be dangerous over the next 4 years for Coach Borchers.

Yes Armour was qb. Did a very nice job for it being his first year at qb. I think Cooper will surprise some people this year. It was just a 7 v 7 but Cooper has some speed and quickness on offense.

Yes Lee did play in the BCPWFL for the Union Jags last year and will be a freshman this year. Armour looked ok for a first time QB. Again, it was 7on7 and Cooper will be young but there is definitely some talent and speed on this team.
