Same for James Worthy. I always thought he was a product of Magic until Magic was gone. Both Scottie and James had better individual seasons without having MJ and Magic on their teams.

I don't think Worry get's the credit he deserves but I think Scottie get's too much. :lol2:

But it's not like they were chopped liver together either. :thumb: Side note: Kareem's first was with Oscar Robertson in Milwaukee. Cousey never won it without Russell.

(BTW, I'm not googling. :lol2:) There was another smaller guard I thought on those '99-'02 teams as well. The 1980 team had a broken Landsberger, Jim Chones, Jamal Wilkes (I will give you he was a better shooter than any support Kobe/Shaq had), Norm Nixon. I can't remember if Rambis had been drafted yet. Cooper was off the bench. They beat a Philly team with Dr. J still in his prime, Darryl Dawkins, Caldwell Jones, Bobby Jones but I'm having trouble remembering their guards. (Bibby? Collins?) Mo Cheeks and Lionel Hollins started guard and Bibby was the backup.
